Garibaldi 2.0 ski jacket

Garibaldi 2.0 has all the features that demanding skiers look for. First, HELLY TECH® Professional fabric makes the jacket extremely waterproof, breathable and windproof. Second, PrimaLoft Black Eco 60g insulation gives you lightweight and cosy warmth in combination with H2FLOW™ ventilation which allows you to warm up or cool down through ventilation zippers. Garibaldi 2.0 has a relaxed fit and articulated sleeves for optimal mobility. 

What we also love about the jacket is the PrimaLoft® Aerogel Pocket which protects your electronics from getting cold and a RECCO® system to help rescue teams find you when you are in trouble. 

Garibaldi 2.0 is bluesign® certified which guarantees safety for consumers and the environment as well as reduced waste and no harmful substances used in the production of the jacket.

Properties of ski jacket

Properties

  • 2-layer ski jacket A 2-layer ski jacket has a membrane that is glued to the outer fabric. The lining is still seperate from the outer fabric, which gives you a lot of freedom of movement. A 2-layer ski jacket is more flexible than a 3-layer ski jacket.
  • Water repellent ski jacket The ski jacket is water repellent, but not impenetrable. Depending on the water column, the degree of waterproofness can be determined.
  • Breathable ski jacket The ski jacket has a breathable effect. Perspiration will be transported out of the ski jacket.
  • Windproof ski jacket The ski-jacket does not let any wind through.
  • Fully-taped seams All seams are taped so the holes from stitching are covered. This way, no water can leak through the seams and the ski jacket stays waterproof.
  • Adjustable cuffs The ski jacket has adjustable cuffs which makes sure that the ski jacket closes well around your wrists.
  • Adjustable hood The hood of the ski jacket is adjustable.
  • Skipass pocket The ski jacket has a compartment for your ski pass, so you don't have to get your ski pass out of your ski jacket at the ski lift.
  • Recco-system Recco is a reflector detection system that helps to find avalanche victims faster. The Recco system is incorporated in your ski jacket. Rescuers can receive the signal from the RECCO system up to 20 meters in the snow and 80 meters from the air.
  • Pre-shaped cuffs/sleeves Pre-shaped cuffs/sleeves for optimal fit and wearing comfort.

  • Polyamide Polyamides occur both naturally and artificially. Naturally they occur as wool and silk. Artificially they can be made through nylons, aramids and sodium poly(aspartate). They have a high durability.
  • Polyester Synthetic fibers using polyester have high water, wind and environmental resistance compared to plant-derived fibers.
  • PrimaLoft black eco insulation Has features like, full warmth and wet perfromance. The wet performance experts combined 60%-recycled fiber technology with a water-repellent treatment for immediate warmth in wet weather. The best in class eco friendly insulation offers insulation that performs with a conscience.
  • Primaloft_gold_aerogel A very porous sturctur forms a thermal blockade, which shuts the cold off in extreme weather conditions. PrimaLoft® Gold Aerogel is manufactured in the shape of flexible, waterproof and lightweight encapsulated inserts.
